This Italian leather tote bag is personally handcrafted by artist and designer Lisa Ramos in her Clayton, California studio .
What makes a MONOLISA handbag unique is its one-of-a-kind construction. Each tote is formed from a single continuous piece of leather, creating a seamless, sculptural silhouette. From sourcing materials and developing custom handbag patterns to hand-cutting leather, double-sewing the interior, fabricating closure elements, and finishing a handmade dust bag, every step is completed by hand.
MONOLISA handbags are not mass-produced and are never sold in retail stores. Pieces are available exclusively through this website or in person at select juried fine art shows, including the San Francisco American Craft Show.
