MONOLISA Return Policy

MONOLISA handbags and jewelry are individually handmade in small limited batches. Because these are artisan-created pieces rather than mass-produced retail products, customers are encouraged to carefully review all dimensions, photos, videos, and product details before purchasing.

Online Purchases vs. In-Person Art Show Purchases

MONOLISA participates in California art shows and festivals where customers are able to personally view, inspect, and try on items before purchasing.

Because customers attending in-person art shows are able to personally inspect and evaluate handmade limited-edition pieces before purchasing, all art show and festival purchases are considered final sale and are non-refundable.

Eligible online purchases are covered under the MONOLISA return guidelines listed below, as customers are purchasing based on product photos, videos, and written descriptions rather than viewing the piece in person.

Return Guidelines

  • Return requests must be submitted through the MONOLISA contact form within 5 business days of receiving your order.
  • Once a return request is approved, return instructions and the return shipping address will be emailed to the customer.
  • The customer is responsible for all original shipping costs and return shipping costs.
  • Approved returns must be shipped back within 3 business days of receiving return instructions.
  • All returned items must be in their original, unused condition with original packaging to qualify for a refund.
  • Items that are damaged, bent, worn, altered, or improperly packaged will not qualify for a refund.
  • Approved handbag returns will be subject to a $25 restocking and handling fee due to packaging materials, processing time, and the handmade limited-edition nature of MONOLISA handbags.
  • In-person art show purchases and final sale items are non-refundable.

Handbag Return Requirements

To help prevent damage during shipping, handbags must not be bent or folded in any way during the return process.

Returned handbags must be shipped in a large protective box with adequate packaging materials to help preserve the shape and condition of the bag.

Handbags returned without their original dust bag will be subject to a $20 fee deducted from the refund.

Refund Process

Refunds are issued once returned items are received, inspected, and approved.

Original shipping costs and return shipping costs paid by the customer are non-refundable.
