What Makes This MONOLISA Jewelry Piece Unique?
Each pair is one of a kind and never cast (pouring molten metal into molds for mass production). The handmade process includes sawing metal pieces, hand sculpting, soldering, hammering, sanding, buffing, multiple hours of heat hardening the Argentium® silver to increase tarnish resistance properties, and polishing to create a high quality piece you can wear for years to come.
Each jewelry piece is personally handcrafted by designer Lisa Ramos. MONOLISA artisan made jewelry is not mass produced or sold in retail stores. Pieces are available exclusively through this online store, by appointment, or at a MONOLISA show.
What Is Argentium® Silver?
Argentium® silver is a premium silver alloy that is more pure than traditional sterling silver. Earlier Argentium® silver formulations contained 93.6% pure silver, and in 2024 the alloy was updated to 94% purity.
California artist Lisa Ramos uses Argentium® silver in select MONOLISA handmade jewelry designs because of its durability, brightness, tarnish resistance, and refined appearance.
Argentium® silver is also valued for being hypoallergenic. The Argentium® silver used in MONOLISA designs is made in the USA and ethically sourced.

I fell in love with the creative process because of the unlimited possibilities. My inspiration comes from exploring new ways to improve my designs and creating pieces that require a new skill set… during that process inspiration is born.
