Gamble Garden Spring Tour is a lovely way to enjoy the season while exploring beautiful Palo Alto gardens and spending time at the historic Gamble Garden grounds. Guests can take a self-guided tour of private gardens, then return to Gamble Garden to enjoy the Marketplace – Gamble Experience. Throughout the event, visitors can shop local vendors, browse the popular Over the Garden Fence vintage sale, explore the Gamble-grown plant sale, and view a silent auction filled with unique finds.

The event also includes live music, gardening and floral demonstrations, refreshments, and a relaxed spring atmosphere surrounded by flowers and garden inspiration. Seating is available at Gamble Garden, and many guests make a day of it by enjoying a picnic nearby or pre-ordering a charcuterie or cheese box for pickup during the event.

  • Is it free? The Marketplace-only experience is $10 per adult. The full Garden Tour is ticketed separately.

  • Are the private garden addresses public? No, they are sent to ticketholders on April 15.
  • Is it accessible? All Spring Tour activities at Gamble Garden are fully accessible, though the private gardens are not suitable for walkers or wheelchairs.

🌸 Good to Know Before You Go

Tour tickets may be used on either day, and you do not need to visit all gardens on the same day. Keep your wristband if you plan to return. Tour booklets are available at Gamble Garden and at each private garden during the event.
