The handmade design is an extensive process of sawing metal pieces, hand sculpting, soldering, fusing, hammering, sanding, buffing, multiple hours of heat hardening the Argentium silver to increase the tarnish resistance properties, stone setting and polishing to create a high quality piece you can wear for years to come. What Is Argentium® Silver?
Argentium® silver is a premium silver alloy that is more pure than traditional sterling silver. Earlier Argentium® silver formulations contained 93.6% pure silver, and in 2024 the alloy was updated to 94% purity.
California artist Lisa Ramos uses Argentium® silver in select MONOLISA handmade jewelry designs because of its durability, brightness, tarnish resistance, and refined appearance.
Argentium® silver is also valued for being hypoallergenic. The Argentium® silver used in MONOLISA designs is made in the USA and ethically sourced.
