The Handmade Process
The classic ring style is a true work of art. The jewelry piece is handcrafted personally by artist Lisa Ramos in her Clayton, California studio. Lisa’s design philosophy is focused on creating high quality jewelry pieces you can wear for years to come.
What makes a MONOLISA jewelry piece unique? Each ring is one of a kind and not cast—no pouring molten metal into molds for mass production. The handmade process includes sawing metal pieces, hand sculpting, hammering, texturing, multiple hours of heat hardening the Argentium silver to increase tarnish resistance, and polishing.
The MONOLISA Collection is not mass produced or sold in retail stores. Pieces from the collection can only be purchased on this website or at a show. The MONOLISA Jewelry Collection has been featured at fine art juried shows in California. Lisa’s mission is to design beautifully handmade limited edition pieces that add a touch of elegance to any personal style.
What Is Argentium® Silver?
Argentium® silver is a premium silver alloy that is more pure than traditional sterling silver. Earlier Argentium® silver formulations contained 93.6% pure silver, and in 2024 the alloy was updated to 94% purity.
California artist Lisa Ramos uses Argentium® silver in select MONOLISA handmade jewelry designs because of its durability, brightness, tarnish resistance, and refined appearance.
Argentium® silver is also valued for being hypoallergenic. The Argentium® silver used in MONOLISA designs is made in the USA and ethically sourced.

My mission is to design beautifully handmade limited-edition pieces that add a touch of elegance to any personal style. Each design is an extension of who I am. I fell in love with the creative process because of the unlimited possibilities. My inspiration comes from exploring new ways to improve my designs and creating pieces that require a new skill set… during that process inspiration is born.
